I met Jeff after having worked with two orthopedic specialists and 5 months of physical therapy. With no improvement from the physical therapy and a recommendation for surgery or lifelong shots from the first orthopedic surgeon I went to a second orthopedic surgeon who looked at my MRI and said that I didn’t need therapy I needed to work with Jeff. I met with Jeff a few days later and he was very professional in his assessment of my situation. We started with dialogues about my body and the way I move and utilize it and began with light exercises to activate the muscles that weren’t functioning. In two sessions he had doing things I would have thought impossible. And since then he continues “basic” body mechanics that are foreign to me but which I notice when I work on them I continue to improve. He has the ability to continue to say things to me in different ways which enable me to learn what he is teaching. I am not saying Jeff is a miracle cure or that I finished the marathon yesterday. However, I will say that the sessions I have had with him have improved my health and my quality of life. While I am not up to running a marathon yet I am able to put the yet in a sentence that sis months ago would have read “I am not ever going to be able to run a marathon again”. Each one of us is different and each one responds to things in different ways but I will say that if you are looking at life with pain or a scalpel take a session or two with Jeff to see if he can make a difference in your life.
I’ve lived with back pain for 30 years due to a degenerated disc. Have tried years of Chiropractic solutions, Physical Therapy, and pain pills. All these gave some relief but still limited me on activities. I started with Jeff in October 2013, on a FMS program which he tailored to me personally. Today, with Jeff’s training I’m in my best shape in 25 years, do not need the pain killers, and do the activities I enjoy once again!!
A month of working with Jeff was everything I’d expected — starting with an FMS and continuing with his experienced eye, we identified my main movement problems and found ways to resolve them. I’m now aware of bad habits I’ve been carrying with me for 20 years, and I have the knowledge of how to fix those habits with awareness and proper muscle recruitment. Along the way, Jeff corrected a bunch of problems with my fundamental kettlebell techniques, which was a huge plus to the experience. I would not hesitate to go back to Jeff if I get stuck on something in the future, and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs to move better, diagnose and resolve movement-related pain, and get stronger.
It’s very simple. Jeff has changed my life. I started working with him about 6 months ago and with the use of kettlebells, interval cardio training and exercises I have lost weight, gained strenth and balance. and learned better nutrition habits. I have learned better nutrition habits from Jeff, been able to stop using medication and I feel terrific. Jeff is focused, observant, tough and encouraging. He has comprehensive knowledge of how the body needs to move correctly. He is an excellent teacher and genuinely cares about his clients. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their health. I am so lucky to have him in my neighborhood!

Leslie has transformed my life. The workout sessions are well crafted and she mixes them up, so no two are the same and they are definitely not boring. She also gave me an exercise plan to do at home, and thanks to all her and all of that planning and encouragement, I completed my first half-marathon this past August. Leslie also gave me a food plan that is not only healthy, but one that I’ll stick to. I keep a food diary and show it to Leslie when we get together. It helps me to be accountable with my food choices. Last February, Leslie’s wellness coaching came in handy when I was having some issues at work. We worked on an Action Plan and I decided to enroll in school and will graduate in a few months with a certificate in a field that I am excited about and hope to work in. I also implemented the Action Plan at work and soon the issues I had all disappeared. I can’t thank her enough for helping me through that very tough period. From exercise, to diet, to wellness coaching, Leslie has touched every aspect of my life. She is the best of the best!
Leslie is the most accomplished and dedicated trainer that I have worked with, and I’ve worked with quite a few in my lifetime. As a result of kettlebell training with her, for the first time I run without pain in my ankle. I feel much stronger and leaner. She is merciless when it comes to proper form. She is a great motivator and I find myself working harder than I’ve ever worked in the past. By far. She is due top marks in her field.
I met Leslie, and she has changed my life. I am once again working out, and even better, I am using kettlebells. Leslie has a love of physical activity that is totally infectious. She is enthusiastic, powerful and a great inspiration. Leslie is so respectful of my aging body, and she pushes me gently to become stronger and more powerful. Last year at this time, I was certain that I would never be strong enough to ride a horse again – my youthful passion. A month ago, while on a family outing, my young nephew casually asked me to warm up his Quarter Horse before competitions began. I did. I felt so confident with my balance that soon Buck & I were loping around the arena like pros! I cannot explain the joy that I felt. I am stronger, more powerful, and more balanced than I have been in years. I have muscle definition that I’ve never seen before, and I know that I’m only beginning. My back is stronger, my knee is healing (torn meniscus), and I am thrilled with how I feel. Leslie works with me each time we meet to go over my unique frailties, and works with me to develop exercises to strengthen specific areas in my body. She is the best NON-physical-therapist that I have ever had the pleasure to know. She is definitely my best Life Coach of all time. I am so proud to know her and to be working with her.
I’ve been working with Leslie for 3 months and have enjoyed every workout. I started working with Leslie with a sore knee and planter’s fasciitis. I love to run and running is what I did 5 to 6 days a week prior to working out with Leslie. Within only 3 short months I am running with no knee pain and have my planter’s fasciitis under control. Leslie’s passion for others and knowledge in what she does is why I am doing so well today. She plans and structures each work out perfectly from warm up, to cool down, to appropriate stretching. Her attention to detail in how she puts each workout together is amazing. She teaches you a new move you practice it, you master it and then you continue to build on it. She’s very attentive to each move you make with the kettle bell teaching you and instructing you the correct form. She very encouraging so when you don’t get it right the first time she’ll have you get the next time. Leslie has passion and drive that never stops. She’s encourages you to push yourself to the limit and is right there helping you to do it. I rate Leslie exceptional.
