Our Program

PHASE 1: Functional Movement screen, Assessment and Evaluations of Current Lifestyle

Perform a seven point Functional Movement Screen to identify physical or functional limitation. Observe the body’s fundamental movement patterns, and identify any weak links. It is essential to screen fundamental movements prior to beginning a rehabilitative or strength and conditioning program because if weak links are not identified, the body will compensate, causing inefficient movements. It is this type of inefficiency that will eventually lead to pain, injury and decreased performance.

PHASE 2: Correct Exercise Strategies

Correct the weak links identified in Phase 1 using specific corrective exercises to increase mobility and stability. Isolate and strengthen the prime movers, and get the core to fire during all movement, whether while exercising, scooping snow, working at your desk, or while living any form of daily life.

In Phase 2 we will teach the individual how to move away from compensation, and how to create more efficient movement patterns. With this kind of efficiency the body will have increased performance. These concepts help prepare for higher level conditioning in Phase 3.

PHASE 3: Higher Level Result-Oriented Training

Increase demand for a higher mental and physical threshold, integrating and utilizing the tools learned in phase 2. Incorporate strength, cardiovascular intervals, leverage and momentum. Put together programs and workouts designed for every individual in order to attain specific goals, sustainable life style changes, and to gain freedom from limitations.

PHASE 4: Owning It

Life application and occupational endurance: Learning to apply the tools learned in Phases 1-3 to all aspects of your life. Physical and mental wellness is not a destination; it’s a way of life.
